Mr. Squirrel

Best Squirrel photo! It's so cute, but its bite is so sharp! I got my finger bitten. But I am sure it did not mean to hurt. :) This is a photo of Mr. Squirrel pondering about life while dining. "Ah, how doleful I feel," said Mr. Squirrel. "I am a little bit fat these days, maybe because I don't walk enough..." Forgetting the fact that he eats acorns 15 times a day. Myabe he should go on a diet.

Parc du Mont Royal

This is a view from Parc du Mont Royal. You can view Montreal downtown from this observatory. This photo was taken in early September. The tall buildings over there are the centre of the downtown and my school is only 5 minutes walk from there.

For Tourists

This is a carriage, often abruptly appears in front of you. It is neat when the carriage takes tourists to sight seeing places in Old Montreal area, however, it becomes a little scary when it goes to St. Catherine street and moves slowly in the middle of traffic. I don't know if they have a set direction as to where they go, but sometimes, it appears before you when least expected.

Kitchen

This is Kitchen. I have a rice cooker, frying pans, rice, pasta, types of sause, cups, plates, dish, glasses (those are the same things...), etc. I have nothing further to comment.

My Room in September

This is my room. It is very spacious. You see the cloth just under the suitcase? That's my bed. I bought a sleeping bag for 40 dollars, and since then I have been sleeping in the sleeping bag. It's not that comfortable, no, but I can sleep. :) As you see, I was in the middle of cleaning. Now my room is clean, but still too spacious since I have no furniture. Though, I do have a TV.

Concordia University

This is a photo of the main entrance of the main building of Concordia University (...long). It is on St. Catherine Street and Rue Mackey, or Rue Bishop. St. Catherine Street is one of the three main streets in downtown Montreal that so many people walk by the school and it is a very busy street. It is perfectly safe and people are so nice; though, there was a shooting just behind this building a few days ago. I was there, but I didn't notice. But yeah, it's extremely rare and it is a very nice place. :)

Atwater Market

This is Atwater Market. I go shopping here once a month. It is hard to find a good rice, but they have a sticky rice used to make sushi, so I buy 10 kg of rice every month (about 15 dollars). I also buy Miso paste, special sause and other ingredients from Japan. They are expensive, but you can't get them anywhere else, so... It's not that bad, though.

Autumn on the Street

This is a street right next to me apartment on St. Marc. The street is so beautiful that even though I don't have to walk through this street, I choose to go through this street every day. You can see squirrels here as well. I once saw a black squirrel... I am sure it wasn't a skunk...
